Ciara Viola MS, LVT

I am a Certified PEMF Practitioner and Licensed Veterinary Technician with an advanced degree in anatomy and physiology.  My passion to help animals is what drove me to create and establish this business.  My mission is to provide owners with an alternative method to keep their pets and competition animals comfortable and healthy without full reliance on prescription medications or more invasive treatments requiring downtime or rehabilitation.  I am willing to work with your veterinarian of choice to create tailored treatments for your animals.

I have wanted to work with animals my entire life.  I earned a BS in Veterinary Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.  After graduation, I attended a 2-year, accredited veterinary technician program and passed all board exams to become a fully Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nevada.  To supplement my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, I attended Colorado State University for a one-year, intensive master's program and obtained my MS in Biomedical Sciences.  In that year, I studied comparative animal anatomy in-depth and performed intricate dissections to learn how the body is put together and how it functions normally.

In addition to my education, I have experience working in general practice as well as emergency medicine as a technician.  Client education and collaborating with owners, vets, and other techs are some of my favorite aspects of my work.  Outside of treatments, I love spending time with my animals, family, and friends.  I have been riding horses since I was 4 years old and competed through FEI Dressage.  Other hobbies include finding new trails I have never explored, being outside enjoying nature, fishing, camping, and trying my hand at amateur photography.
